Shalom Center provides
information (and lessons) about Judaism, Christianity
related to Judaism, Israel, Zionism, Giyur and Aliyah in Israel, Belgium and the
Netherlands. In Susya we have (with the approval of the local Rabbi (Rav. E.
Altshuler) a Beth Midrash for non-Jewish persons who want to study about Judaism.
Further we provides lessons about the actual situation and the perspective for
peace based at the Tanach.
Ø
Shalom Center provides
information regarding Judaism verses Christianity to promote respect and understanding about the differences between
the Christian faith and the Jewish faith.
Some of our Orthodox-Jewish team members are
former Christians who know the Christian world and theology from inside.
Ø Shalom
Center provides
information Christianity for
Jewish organizations, (government) institutions and schools. Because of a lack of information about Christianity and
Christian group, sometimes there is a to much reservation towards Christians who
love Israel. At the other hand there also sometimes is a to big cooperation with
Christians/groups whose deep wish it its to convert Jews to Christianity (or of
variant of it) which results in a neglect of the Torah instructions
.
Ø Shalom
Center
offers help with dealing giyur requests of people (with Christian background).
We provide lesson program(s) to institutions dealing with geerim in order that
these possible geerim will be well educated in the aspects Judaism differs from
Christianity to prevent future fallbacks caused by lack of knowledge and
understanding at the moment of giyur.

Isa
56:1-7, Isa 14:1, Isa 27:13. Isa 56 "Thus
saith HaShem: Keep ye justice, and do righteousness; for My salvation is near to
come, and My favour to be revealed. 2 Happy is the man that doeth this,
and the son of man that holdeth fast by it: that keepeth the sabbath from
profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. 3 Neither let the alien,
that hath joined himself to HaShem, speak, saying: ‘HaShem will surely separate
me from His people’; neither let the eunuch say: ‘Behold, I am a dry tree.’ 4
For thus saith HaShem concerning the eunuchs that keep My sabbaths, and choose
the things that please Me, and hold fast by My covenant: 5 Even unto them
will I give in My house and within My walls a monument and a memorial better
than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting memorial, that shall
not be cut off. 6 Also the aliens, that join themselves to HaShem, to minister
unto Him, and to love the name of HaShem, to be His servants, every one that
keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast by My covenant: 7
Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of
prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine
altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.".

Shalom Center encourages
every Israelite to examine the roots of their faith so that they know more
about who they are and what destiny they have.
Mal. 1:11 "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same
My name is great among the nations; and in every place offerings are presented
unto My name, even pure oblations; for My name is great among the nations, saith
HaShem of hosts".
All Eretz Israël is a G'd given present to the people of Israël.
The
people will live there as promised. Dvar. 30:2-14 "and
shalt return unto HaShem thy G’d, and hearken to His voice according to all that
I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thy heart, and with all
thy soul; 3 that then HaShem thy God will turn thy captivity, and have
compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples,
whither HaShem thy God hath scattered thee. 4 If any of thine that are
dispersed be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will HaShem thy God
gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee. 5 And HaShem thy God will
bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it;
and He will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. 6 And HaShem thy
God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love HaShem thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. 7 And HaShem
thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate
thee, that persecuted thee. 8 And thou shalt return and hearken to the voice of
HaShem, and do all His commandments which I command thee this day. 9 And HaShem
thy God will make thee over-abundant in all the work of thy hand, in the fruit
of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for
good; for HaShem will again rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy
fathers; 10 if thou shalt hearken to the voice of HaShem thy God, to keep His
commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law; if thou
turn unto HaShem thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul. 11 For this
commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither
is it far off. 12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say: ‘Who shall go
up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may
do it?’ 13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say: ‘Who shall go
over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may
do it?’ 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart,
that thou mayest do it."
